Is your clinic exit-ready? On 18 June 2026 we brought clinic owners together at The King's Fund in London for a practical evening on how to build a more valuable business, sell well, and maximise sale price.

This was not a generic conversation about “selling your clinic someday.” It was a practical evening of panel discussions and peer conversation focused on what actually drives value in the eyes of buyers, what reduces it, and what clinic owners should be doing now to build with the end in mind.

Whether attendees were planning a sale in the near term or simply wanted to build a clinic that is more scalable, less owner-dependent, and more attractive over time, the session offered direct insight, practical advice, and honest conversation from people who have built, bought, and sold clinics themselves.

    The Line-Up

    Two panels. Six operators.
    One honest conversation.

Founders, CEOs, and dealmakers who’ve built, scaled, and sold UK private clinics — sharing what actually moves value at exit.

    Panel 1

Operations Building a clinic worth buying.

    Andrea Agnolio

    Andrea Agnolio

    Co-CEO & COO, Skingevity

Runs the day-to-day at Skingevity, a fast-scaling UK medical-aesthetics group. Andrea's focus is building the operating muscle — clinic protocols, staffing models, and the un-sexy systems that make a multi-site clinic actually saleable.

    Simon Devane

    Simon Devane

    CEO, Pure Sports Medicine

Leads one of London's largest physio and sports-medicine groups — 10 clinics and 120+ specialists across the city. Simon has spent two decades turning a single clinic into a referrable, defensible network that consultants, insurers, and acquirers all take seriously.

    Joëlle Rotsaert

    Joëlle Rotsaert

    Co-founder, Injectual

Aesthetics operator turned founder. Joëlle previously took Cavendish Clinic from 2 to 10 sites before co-founding Injectual, and brings a builder's view on how to scale clinical quality without losing the brand that made the first clinic work.

    Shaima Villait

    Shaima Villait

    Co-Founding Partner, Chelsea Medics

GP and co-founding partner at Chelsea Medics, a private GP and minor-surgery practice in central London. Also serves as Deputy Chair of the BMA's Private Practice Committee — giving her a direct line of sight into the regulatory and commercial pressures that shape every UK clinic sale.

    Enrico Ghio

    Enrico Ghio

    Co-CEO & CFO, Skingevity

Ex-Goldman Sachs M&A banker, now Co-CEO and CFO at Skingevity. Enrico brings the dealmaker's lens — how acquirers actually model a clinic, what they discount for, and the financial housekeeping owners wish they had started two years earlier.

    Oliver Abrams

    Oliver Abrams

    Director of M&A, Kinetico Health

Heads up M&A at Kinetico Health, one of the more active buyers in the UK physio and rehab market. Oliver evaluates clinic acquisitions full-time — he'll share, candidly, what gets a clinic onto the shortlist and what gets it quietly passed over.

    The full recording

    What it’s about

    • We heard from a panel of clinic founders and operators across aesthetics, dentistry, and physio/MSK who have successfully exited or are building with a future sale in mind — sharing what they got right, what they’d do differently, and the operational changes that made their businesses more attractive and resilient.
    • Private equity operators, clinic buyers, and group acquirers discussed how they assess acquisition opportunities, what makes them lean in, what red flags make them hesitate, and what separates a strong clinic from a merely busy one.
    • Both sides of the table were in one room: the seller perspective from clinic owners who have built and sold, and the buyer perspective from operators actively evaluating clinics as acquisition opportunities.
    • Clinic owners and operators across dentistry, aesthetics, physio/MSK, chiropractic, private hospitals, and other private healthcare sectors connected over drinks and canapés.
