Attribution, in the open

    How we attribute patient bookings

We publish exactly how we count: conservatively, transparently, and the same way every time.

    Our approach

Accounting principles for patient booking attribution

Working out who brought a patient back is an art, not a science, in every industry. So we use one clear, consistent, published method, counted conservatively and in the open.

    What we promise

    Coverage, not guaranteed results

Always-on engagement with every one of your patients, across every channel, consistently on-brand. None quietly drift away, and that coverage is what reliably produces results across your whole patient base.

    How we count a booking

Two kinds of conversion. We report both.

Every booking we take credit for is one of two kinds.

    What we report
    All bookings

The same split Google Ads uses: "Conversions" (direct) and "All conversions" (direct plus assisted).

    Booked by us

    Direct

The patient booked through a Coherent touchpoint.

    • Replied to our WhatsApp or text; we booked them in.
    • Called our line; we sorted the appointment.
    • Used the booking link we sent them.
    Assisted by us

    Influenced

We re-engaged the patient; they booked another way soon after.

    • Got our reminder, then booked online a few days later.
    • We messaged them; they rang your reception to book.
    • We restarted the conversation; they booked at their next visit.
    What we do not count
    Our rule

No real link between our outreach and the booking? We do not claim it.

We would rather under-count than overclaim, because that is what keeps the number trustworthy. A patient who was not due for recall and rebooked entirely on their own stays off our count.

    Four real scenarios

Where the line falls, case by case

The same rules, applied to four patients you will recognise.

    Booked by us

A patient leaves a consultation undecided on the treatment plan. We follow up, work through the hesitation over a few days, and she books it with us.

    Booked by us

A patient who hasn't been in for a year replies to our recall message, and we book her next visit on the spot.

    Assisted by us

We work a new enquiry for a week. He never replies to us, then books himself straight through the front door. We warmed him up, flagged assisted, not direct.

    Not counted

A booking turns up with no real link to anything we did, or from someone we never contacted at all. Shown for transparency, never counted as ours.

    What the coverage gives you

Three things follow from engaging every patient

    01

    Every patient, followed up

We engage every patient in your base, on time and on tone, so none quietly slip away. You keep full visibility of who is drifting, who we have contacted, and who has booked.

    02

    Pressure off your team

We take the constant patient follow-up off your front-of-house team, so they can focus on the people in front of them. Clinics win back hours each week, and some avoid a front-desk hire entirely.

    03

    Commercial impact

The coverage compounds into results you can measure on the bottom line. Clinic partners see an average 17% uplift in bookings, and over 3x return on what they invest with us.

Typical outcomes, not guarantees. Results vary by clinic and patient base.

    The bottom line

    Every patient, engaged.

Always-on engagement across every channel, with a clear count of the bookings it’s associated with.
